Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most popular role is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk were the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also teaches drama on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother at work and attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials while she was young. She received a Bachelor's of Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated to Toronto in her quest to act and improve, before moving after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors training. After getting engaged in 2008, they got married in 2009. They renewed their vows on on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton with an Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk gave birth to an infant son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in May 2016. Silk's work on television has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to the viewers during the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk was working on Lost Girl since the final season episode premiered on January 6, 2013 on Twitter, announced her readiness to return on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E! named the couple as the top TV Couple for 2013.
