Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and often stylized with lowercase letters, such like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 from Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from blogs and the press. She has recorded several high-profile songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which have been widely praised. Katy Perry, who endorsed the tune Runaway by her, gave it some more recognition. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was when she discovered a keyboard in her loft and being fascinated by its music.
